Behavioral Studies is the study of humans: The way they act, think, and relate to each other. The subject matter of psychology is all about you-how you think, feel, react, learn, remember, perceive, and develop as a human being. In class, students will examine topics such as personality development; heredity vx. Environment; nurture vs. nature; memory; classical conditioning; operant conditioning; psychological disorders; defense mechanisms; and communication. This course involves IMC research, quarterly book reports, in-class discussion, and development and expression of personal viewpoints.
