Bethany Stevens

Andrew Meyers

My name is Bethany Stevens and I am running for re-election to the Cameron School Board. My husband and I, along with our kids Bre (11) and Mac (12), enjoy being active in the school district. I first had the opportunity to work as the school nurse for the district when we came back from COVID and have felt a need to serve our community since. Currently I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with Oakleaf Clinics and split my time between Eau Claire and Rice Lake.

In my free time I love to play piano for the St. Peter's Catholic Church and Cluster Choir, volunteering with the youth shooting sports at the Blue Hills Rod and Gun Club, and chasing our kids around to various sports, music, and 4-H activities.

I look forward to continuing to serve our community and appreciate your trust by voting for me to serve our staff and students.

My name is Andrew Myers, and I am running for a seat on the Cameron School District Board of Education. I grew up right here in Cameron and graduated in 2015. This community played a significant role in shaping who I am, from the teachers who challenged me to the neighbors who showed me what it means to care for one another. Cameron has always felt like home, and the values I learned growing up here continue to guide how I approach responsibility and leadership.

Professionally, I work as a pipeline integrity engineer, where my focus is on safety, accountability, and long-term planning. In my work, every decision matters, and there is no room for shortcuts or assumptions. Good outcomes come from understanding the full picture, asking honest questions, and making choices based on real information. I believe that same level- headed, thoughtful approach is essential when making decisions that affect our schools, students, and families.

I am running for school board because I care deeply about Cameron and want to give back to the district that gave so much to me. I believe strong schools are built through trust, transparency, and open communication. Families deserve to feel informed and heard, teachers and staff deserve support and respect, and students should always remain the central focus of every decision. Responsible use of district resources and long-term stability are also critical to ensuring our schools remain strong for years to come.

In a small school district like ours, good leadership begins with listening and consistency. I want to contribute to a school board that is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in the values that make Cameron a strong place to learn and grow. It would be an honor to serve the Cameron community and support a school district we can all continue to be proud of.
