WITC Articulation**

Students in this course will compose and edit the school yearbook, district newsletter, a Cameron High School newspaper, and a variety of other commercial products (i.e. newsletters, posters, flyers, brochures, and letterhead). Emphasis will be placed on journalistic style, designing a spread, organizing a publication, and learning a desktop publishing software package. Other areas to be covered related to publications will be layout, photography, and marketing. Proper written and oral communication skills will be stressed. This course is designed for students interested in journalism and the organization of a business. Class size will be limited to hardware availability.
