1st Trimester
Grade 9-12
Prerequisite: None
This class will include accessory activities such as pickleball, badminton, ping pong, strength training, and yoga. The main activity covered will be biking. Several times per week the class will take group rides on and around the Cameron area. Bike safety, basic bike maintenance, and riding technique will be taught. All PE classes will include various strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility activities along with the listed sport activities. Students must have access to a dependable bike that can ride on road as well as non-paved surfaces. Please talk to the instructor if you would like to take the class, but do not have access to a bike.
3rd Trimester
Grades 9-12
Prerequisite: None
This class will include accessory activities such as pickleball, badminton, ping pong, strength training, and yoga. The main activity covered will be golf. Focus will be on basic grip, swing, rules, and etiquette. We will visit a driving range several times and the unit will culminate with a trip to a local golf course to complete a round of 9 holes. All PE classes will include various strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility activities along with the listed sport activities.
1 Trimester

Prerequisite: None
This class will focus on fitness dance, yoga, strength training, and overall conditioning. Each week the students will fitness dance at least once per week and perform yoga at least once per week. The class will also use other cardiovascular activities such as running, walking, fitness videos, and skiing.
2nd and 3rd Trimester
Grades 9-12
Prerequisite: None
This class will include the sports of basketball, volleyball, and partner net sports. There will be accessory sports such as boccer, squareball, flickerball, etc. All PE classes will include various strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility activities along with the listed sports activities.
1 Trimester
Grades 11-12, or approval of instructor
Prerequisite: None
This course is intended for students who want to learn how to design goal specific fitness programs, improve strength, increase muscularity, improve cardiovascular fitness, increase flexibility, or reduce body fat. The course will cover goal setting, proper lifting technique, weight training program design, nutrition, and anatomy. Physiology related to weight training, body fat analysis, advantages and disadvantages of different fitness routines will also be covered. We also will investigate infomercials, supplements, and fad diets. Each student will set an individual goal and design a fitness program to meet that goal. This course is very physically and cognitively demanding.

This class will include the sports of ultimate Frisbee, soccer, and LaCrosse. There will be accessory sports such as boccer, squareball, flickerball, etc. All PE classes will include various strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility activities along with the listed sport activities.
1 Trimester

Prerequisite: None
This class will instruct students in program development and implementation of strength training techniques. Besides traditional set/rep lifting programs, students will participate in Crossfit, Tabata, Circuit Training, Undulating Ropes, Plyometrics, and high Intensity Interval Training. This class is for individuals interested in increasing their overall fitness with an emphasis on strength training. Note: This class will be similar in structure as zero hour Strength and Fitness
2nd Trimester
Grades 9-12
Prerequisite: None
This class will include accessory activities such as pickleball, badminton, ping pong, strength training and yoga. The main activity covered will be Cross Country Skiing. Several times per week the class will practice basic classical stride, hill techniques, and poling. Several times during the semester we will travel to local ski trails. All PE classes will include various strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility activities along with the listed sport activities.
