Hello Cameron High School students and parents. I am honored to be the principal of Cameron High School. My goal is to guide students through a positive educational experience to prepare them for the next phase of their life. Whether students plan to continue their education after school, join the military, or enter the workforce, the staff and I are committed to helping them reach their goals. We have numerous opportunities available and I challenge students to get involved and be positive members of our school community. I am excited to serve as the high school principal and getting to know each of you. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call, email or stop in. My office is always open.
Have a great year. Go Comets!
Mr. John Meznarich
High School Principal
It is time to wish our Seniors the best as they head out into the “real world”. In an effort to celebrate this special occasion and to make those final days in the Cameron classrooms more memorable for our soon-to-be graduates, the National Honor Society has sponsored the “Kiss a Senior Goodbye” program for the past several years. The Kiss A Senior Goodbye consists of a bundle of Hershey’s Kisses with a message card attached conveying a special message of love, congratulations, best wishes, or friendship.
The federal “No Child Left Behind Act of 2001” includes a provision that requires local school districts receiving federal assistance under the Act to provide, on request of military recruiters or an institution of higher education, access to secondary school students’ names, addressesand telephone listings. A secondary school student or the parent of the student may request that the student’s name, address, and telephone listing not be released to military recruiters or institutions of higher education without prior written approval. If you would like to make a request of this nature, please send a brief note to Cameron High School, 750 South First St. c/o John Meznarich.
