School District of Cameron
The School District of Cameron enjoys a great and well deserved reputation in our little corner of northwestern Wisconsin. Measuring a little less than 70 square miles, with an enrollment of just over 1,000 students, the District boasts that it is large enough to offer a first class education to our students, Pre-K through 12th grade, but small enough to consider them as family. With overwhelming support from the surrounding community, the Cameron Schools offer programming in academics, athletics, and co-curricular activities which rival those of our larger neighbors. Through inclusive planning and targeted staff development we continue to strive for improvement.
As you explore the District web site you will see "snapshots" of information that will give you insight into what we have that is so special, but the best way to get to know the Cameron District is to talk to our folks. Schedule a visit and ask around. Cameron is just the place for those who want a school system for their children, which in partnership with the community ensures educational opportunities that prepare students to succeed in an ever changing world by providing a safe environment and a caring staff responsive to individual needs.

Open Enrollment
The Wisconsin Open Enrollment is closed.
Wisconsin’s inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they live. Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from school, unless the student receives special education. If the student’s IEP requires transportation, the nonresident school district must provide for transportation to the nonresident school.
The Open Enrollment period for the 2013-2014 school year opened on February 4 and closed April 30, 2013 at 4 p.m.
